How moving and apt for the day. The first time I heard this song, maybe twenty years ago–or more, it was in a music video performed by Sarah Brightman and the young soloist Paul Miles-Kingston. The video captured images from war-torn Northern Ireland and I wept all the way through the video. It still brings tears to my eyes and remains one of the most moving musical experiences. I hadn’t heard this until yesterday and I like it just because it’s a bit different from the version I normally cry at 🙂
