Really, we’ve been quite busy during these holidays. We’ve been out and about, building up reserves of seaside time, shared activity, and giggling. It is a joy to laugh together, to tumble in a tangle of limbs on a sandy beach. We have found one fabulous beach after another, caves, castles and cafes. You’ve been bored by many pictures of empty sky and empty strands. Time for a wee bit of variety…
time to explore

Looks like fun.
Welcome, magnumlady; we’ve had lots of fun. Last summer was stressy and chaotic, so we’ve revelled in this holiday time 🙂
Tiddley Om Pom Pom!
😀 Oh, yes!
Great adventures and food outdoors always tastes sweeter.
Also, I’m sure it’s not at all calorific
What are you eating? I also love to eat outside.
Eating chips (fries) outside in the rain is a key part of any ‘summer’ in the British Isles, Andra 🙂
Am not bored.
But I think the bottom picture could be alluding to the enviable -‘ET go home’ sad when the journey ends, but the memories will still am sure.
Oh, I like that, Hudson. An unexpected metaphor! You are clever
Beachcombing, castle-building, exploring…. the recipe for a wonderful summer! (You should write these adventures up in hardback – The Fabulous Four Go Foraging)
😀
Great photos. I want to know what you were eating too! Whatever it was, bet it tasted great..
Chips. Outside an old kirk. Apparently it would have been bad form to go inside, wafting salt, vinegar and chip fat about 😉
Oh, I miss fish and chips, Fiona. Must come back to visit some day. I really miss the sausage and bap my wife and I would get at boot sales and auctions. Yum!
There is something wonderful about sturdy outside food, isn’t there?
Those are happy photos, Fiona. Just wonderful to see, and although I am never bored by your beautiful photos of sea and sky, I do love to see a family enjoying themselves and each other. oxo
We have been so lucky this summer, Debra. Last year was stressy and chaotic and a bit of a blur- this year has been a contended beachy blur 🙂
